Once again, a huge thank you must go out to everyone involved, parents, kids and all the coaches and teachers. Great work, all!
What a great way to continue and grow our partnership with Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club.
We were absolutely delighted with how the first three weeks of the Summer went and couldn’t believe some of the progress made during both academic and sports sessions.
We are already really excited and looking forward to the final week of the Summer.
So, what did we get up to?

English

Creative writing and character development took centre stage. Children were given the chance to analyse established characters, identifying their personality traits and roles within a story.
This was a lovely group exercise, leading to some fantastic individual work.
Amazing to see how everyone took charge of their own character and storyline.
Creativity definitely won the day.
Maths
Fractions, Geometry and delving into some 13+ papers. It was so refreshing to have the children lead the sessions.
Tackling papers and finding interesting topics to delve into seemed to be the order of the day.
Brilliant, can’t wait for more…

Problem solving and stem
It was fantastic to see how determination and stepping out of traditional thinking patterns can pay off.
Rhebus puzzles, Giant Matchstick problems and a tin foil car/rocket ship made for some extremely fun and creative sessions.
Sport
The children really looked forward to their sport sessions after lunch. They were always engaging and allowed everyone to try a range of different sports each day.
Meeting new friends, having fun and staying active was a lovely way to spend the afternoon.
Looking back

It was a wonderful feeling, looking back on a successful EduSport and 11+ preporation programme. Having spoken to parents and children, everyone at Right Foot and Trailfinders agree, a successful Summer was had.
We are really happy with how things went and look forward to many more camps like these.
